Guts Experiments II

Pursuit of a research on the use of intestines, which begun in Greenland during summer 2017. Based on the discovery of seals intestines craft within the first Inuit populations. Using its technical qualities of impermeability and lightness to build the first k-ways and floats for their kayaks. This new series is built from local bovine intestines. Displaying a collection of living containers. According to ambient temperature, or still by the breath, they move, withdraw and revive. Highlighting the aesthetic and technical qualities of a material considered as dirt. And whose qualities are only appreciated today in
the food industry.
