Who fears deep waters, should remain at the shore

This series crystallizes questions of style and craftsmanship, specific to the French so-called ¨regional furniture¨. Each of the three pieces from the collection were directly inspired by the workshop of the wood turner Philippe Huet, based in Lorraine, East of France. One of the last semi-industrial wood turner in France. A technical and stylistic guardian of French regional furniture and ornamentation. The combination of the wooden torso and the moire fabric, both very typical, allows to infuse a vague and hallucinated aspect to the collection.
