Lachrymotry urns is a series of three funeral urns aiming to be buried. Inspired by Victorian Century tears phials, these huge black tears also silently echo to the classic tradition of mourners. Each of these piece requires to be carried by celebrants. They invite to procession by their shape, carried in a pagan pietà. Their considerable weight calls symbolically the weight of an absent body.
