Night Thoughts

Night Thoughts I and II, is a series of two bedspreads produced in a Carmelite community in Verdun ( France ). These bedspreads represent the daily passage from reality to the dream world, illuminating its value. The essence of this project lies in the attempt to approach the Carmelite nuns, a mystical community, living independently thanks to their special craft production. This series defines the starting point of a research and work on the production of objects in monasteries, celebrating the imagination that inhabits them.
A resistance to reality.

In legacy of Saint Teresa of Avila, Giotto, Fra Angelico & Edward Young.
